The project "Knowhow communities for the acceleration of RTI transfer in the Danube region - RTIT>>" aims to enhance the commercial adaptation of research, technology, and innovation in materials science and technology. It seeks to achieve this goal by fostering a more conducive environment for the transfer of research, technology, and innovation in this pivotal area within the Danube region. The implementation of the project is overseen by the Montenegrin Tehnopolis Innovation Entrepreneurship Center, along with 12 other partners from eight countries across the Danube region, including the Institute of Engineering and Smart Technologies at the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics of the University of Pécs. The kickoff meeting of the project took place successfully in January of this year in Ljubljana, providing an opportunity for project partners to convene in person and collaboratively outline future activities.
Within this initiative, the Faculty of Technology and Informatics can play a significant role in bolstering the technological competitiveness of the Danube region by supporting the innovative capacity of local enterprises.
The projects are supported by the Interreg Danube Region Program, with co-financing from the European Union.
